To become a member or our team, simply: · Join The YMCA as a member · Each Family purchases or sells 6 Lottery Tickets per season · Each Family joins the Parent’s Club by paying the Annual $30 Parent’s Club Fee. (All parent’s are members when their children join the team). · LEARN TO SWIM BETTER AND FASTER · HAVE FUN!!!

Children of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join. Entry-level swimmers focus on development of strokes. Older or more experienced swimmers focus on strength and technique while the experienced swimmer uses a combination of techniques that are focused on helping swimmers achieve their individual best. The Greater Scranton YMCA “Stingray” Swim Team is based on the YMCA principles of competitive swimming and character development values. We believe that everybody swims and everybody wins. Our Coaching staff is dedicated to emphasizing values through individual development in swimming skills, sportsmanship, leadership and team spirit. The Scranton YMCA Stingrays are a fully sanctioned YMCA Swimming Program. We participate in the Penn-Del YMCA Swim League- “B” North Division, YMCA invitational meets, USA Swimming invitational meets, and for those who qualify, YMCA Districts, States & Nationals. |
