The Great Scranton YMCA "Stingray" Swim Team is based on the YMCA principles of competitive swimming and character development values. We believe that everybody swims and everybody wins. Our Coaching staff is dedicated to emphasizing values through individual development in swimming skills, sportsmanship, leadership, and team spirit.
The Scranton YMCA Stingrays are a fully sanctioned YMCA Swimming Program. We participate in the Penn-Del YMCA Swim League- "B" North Division, YMCA invitational meets, USA Swimming invitational meets, and for those who qualify, YMCA Districts, States & Nationals.

Fiorelli’s, located at 1501 Main Street, Peckville, PA.
It’s that wonderful time of the year when all GSY swimmers and their families come together to celebrate the success of the season!
The awards ceremony, held at the banquet, is when each of the swimmers receives their trophy and ribbons.The Parents Association generously pays for swim team members to attend the banquet. Additional cost for adults is $20.00 and children $15.00. Paymentsmay be made at the YMCA Welcome Center. The buffet style menu includes:
Fiorelli’s House Salad
Pasta with Red Sauce
Homemade Meatballs
Sliced Roast Beef with Gravy
Herb Encrusted Chicken
These items are also highlighted by various side
dishes as well as a dessert the kids will surely love!

Our Team Bathing suits are the same as last year.
The Girls will be wearing a black Speedo Aquablade.
The Boys will be wearing a black Speedo Aquablade Jammer.
If your suit from last year is still in good condition & fits, you can certainly still wear that, you can order your suit at your convenience but please allow enough time for your shipment to arrive.
